UCSD Guardian Advertising Designer
Created graphical advertisements online and in print for clients. Did graphical development for newspaper and designed marketing materials. In December 2005, became lead graphic artist for redesign of the newspaper, completed in January 2006. Continues to provide layout and graphical redesign for the newspaper's new identity.
Preuss School Mentor
Model United Nations: Developed curriculum to introduce students to Model United Nations program. Teaches weekly class on debate skill and world issues, advises students on competitions at local high schools and universities.
Robotics: Five-year veteran of FIRST Robotics program. Mentor in leadership, public speaking, community relations. Personal robotics career includes regional finalist award, two Engineering Inspiration awards, one regional Chairman's award, among others. Currently serve on San Diego Regional Organizing Committee.
Mira Costa High School Site Council
Board charged with budgeting specialized funds. Served as student representative throughout high school, elected vice chairperson of board in 2004. Founding member of council, helped write board constitution, guidelines for funding, and other founding documents.
