Trip on: August 15?, 2000

By George Chen

Six Flags Magic Mountain is a great park, and will hold the record for most number of coasters in one park after Deja Vu, X, and Goliath Jr. are complete. Here was my ride plan.

  1. Revolution: A great warmup ride, because it has only one loop and travels at a mild speed.

  2. Sierra Twist: I couldn't resist riding this ride, plus, there was no line. My friend doesn't like it though, he says this ride makes him throw up.

  3. Griders Gearworks: FEEL the centrifugal force push you outward. One note, if you need to throw up, throw up to an angle, so it hits the person next to you :).

  4. Batman the Ride: I didn't like this ride. It gave me stomach cramps. My friends loved it though.

  5. Tidal Wave: We got to sit in the FRONT ROW!!!! We got wet, but not soaking wet.

  6. Riddler's Revenge: My friends said, since I didn't like Batman, I shouldn't go on this ride. For some reason, I liked this coaster a lot. The station looks really cool.

  7. Freefall: What a fun ride. It gives you a wonderful "lighter than air" feeling.

  8. Goldrusher: YAWN. This ride moves SOOO slow! Don't waste your time on it.

  9. Psyclone: Great ride, but it looks unstable. This ride can give you stomach cramps. I didn't get any.

  10. Ninja: Another slower ride. I didn't think much about it.

  11. Superman: Whew! What a rush! It's better at night since you don't know when the operator presses the go button.

  12. Viper: Great ride, but I didn't like the corkscrews.

  13. Colossus: Wonderful woodie! I love it. This ride gives you great airtime. Although I wish they would run both tracks at once. Oh well, maybe another day.

  14. Goliath: Always save the best for the last. What a great ride! I love the first drop. However, I don't like the tunnel you go through, since the picture booth is right there and it makes you duck, so the camera takes a picture of the top of your head.

Overall, Six Flags Magic Mountain is a great park. I hope to go back soon and experience their new coasters!
