Knott's Berry Farm is a very old park, which has, for the most part, been shunned by the roller coaster community as a failed park. However, recent additions have boosted it up. Here are the rides I went on at Knott's and what I think about them.
Calico Mine Train- YAWN. I was expecting this to be a mine train roller coaster. Boy, was I wrong! This ride is a tour of the Calico "mine". Skip this ride unless your with small children.
Headspin- For RCT enthusiasts, this ride is known as Scrambled Eggs. What a good ride to go on after major thrillers
Wipeout- Unless you are willing to risk severe nausea, DO NOT GO ON THIS RIDE!! It nearly made me puke.
Supreme Scream- I dunno about this one. I prefer rides that launch you up the tower, so you don't have to look down.
Hammerhead- This ride is fun, but the revolutions give me a bit of nausea. Must be my motion sickness kicking in again. ;)
Windjammer-Closed! Defunct! Wahoo!
Sky Cabin- This ride is good for cooling off after coasters. It provides a 360 panorama of the park.
Perilous Plunge- Unless you are willing to get DRENCHED, do not go on or stand near this ride. You will get soaked!
Boomerang- The first of its kind. There are now over 30 copycat versions.
Log Ride- I loved making faces for the rides camera (my friends did too). The animatronics, however, are unrealistic. This log flume moves faster than I expected.
Waveswinger- A classic swing ride. Fun.
Dragon Swing- RCT AKA Swinging ship. Pretty fun. I like the floating feeling.
Gran Slammer- Or, as my friend called it, "Hammerhead for wussies" This ride also give you the floating feeling.
Montezooma's Revenge- Great shuttle loop. The car almost goes all the way to the tip.
Jaguar- What a nice kiddie coaster. I recommend that you ride it at night, when the pyramid lights on fire.
Ghostrider- "Wildest wooden coaster in the west!" So true. This is a great ride. However, lines are very long.
Bigfoot Rapids- This ride is good, but its themeing could use improvement. I prefer Disney's Grizzly River Run.
Overall, Knott's Berry Farm is a good park, but not the best. Hopefully their affiliation with Cedar Point will help them improve the park without destroying this history that the park has. The Haunted Shack has since disappeared, and will be replaced with something. Windjammer will be replaced by a new launch coaster called Xcelerator.
