Choose your own adventure

George: LMAO oh this is brilliant....for a math final, one suggestion was to have a 'choose your own adventure' type final: "if the limit of the function does not exist, go to question 6. If it does, go to question 10"
Wendy: hahahaha!!
George: you think i should do that for one of my quizzes?
Wendy: do it!
Wendy: hahaha
Wendy: no actually
Wendy: that's awful
George: have like 20 questions, but they actually only answer 5?
George: lol
Wendy: oh actually
Wendy: haha that's a good way to prevent cheating, I think
Wendy: since let's say you made three different copies of that exam
Wendy: it'd be way too much trouble to cheat
Wendy: because each question leads to another question
Wendy: so first you would have to find the question on your test
Wendy: and then you would have to find the next question
Wendy: and then find the next question on the other person's test
Wendy: etc.
George: yeah
George: but i'd have to make a way out for ppl, so that if they miss 1 question they don't mess up the rest of the test...
Wendy: yeah
Wendy: well each question can have a right answer
Wendy: it just means you have to grade a lot of different questions
George: yeah
George: i suppose i wouldn't mind that actually
George: just let them know that they can only answer 5 questions, but it's designed so if you miss one you won't miss them all...
George: oh man. i dunno if I'D want to take that sort of test though....
Wendy: you could write the questions in a story format
Wendy: Like.. Bob the Bacteria
Wendy: choose his adventure!
Wendy: hahaha oh man
George: HAHAHAHA
Wendy: your students would think you have way too much time on your hands
George: oh i know. but would it be enjoyable?
George: lol
Wendy: if it was about Bob the Bacteria?
Wendy: sure!
Wendy: I'd be like.. wow, that's awesome
Wendy: Bob.
Wendy: The Bacteria.
George: haha add a few cartoons in there
George: make it look like a 6th grade math assignment.
Wendy: yayyyyyy
Wendy: make a story panel of Bob the Bacteria
Wendy: dude, and keep coming up with new adventures for Bob
Wendy: in each Bio quiz
Wendy: I'd be so amused
George: haha one will be use the letters from your answers to solve a really nerdy riddle
Wendy: yeah!!
Wendy: like the word jumble!
Wendy: that's SO AWESOME
Wendy: hahahahahahah
George: hahahaha oh god. i wonder if the professor would let me do this.
George: because i totally would. it'd give me the best excuse ever not to do what i'm supposed to
George: i can treat it like a work of art ;)
Wendy: hahaha!
Wendy: yes, make TA-ing fun!
George: exactly! if i'm gonna grade something, i might as well make it fun for myself :)
George: especially if it's 40 copies of that something
George: one of the questions could be: bob the bacteria's cousins have suddenly learned to create oxygen! they decide they need a new name for themselves, what would you call them?
Wendy: THAT'S AWESOME
Wendy: hahahahahahaha
George: good heavens i've turned into a 4th grade teacher.
Wendy: DOOOO ITTTTTT
